Ingredients

  • 4 pieces ripe bananas Use ripe bananas for a sweeter taste.
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 100 g sugar Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 cup water

For Serving

  • 2 cups crushed ice Add just before serving.
  • to taste palm sugar syrup Drizzle on top for extra sweetness.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Peel and slice the ripe bananas.
  • In a pot, combine coconut milk, sugar, a pinch of salt, and water. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce the heat.
  • Add the sliced bananas to the mixture, letting them cook until tender, about 5-10 minutes.
  • Allow the mixture to cool slightly.

Serving

  • Serve the warm banana and coconut mix in a bowl over crushed ice, drizzling with palm sugar syrup if desired.

Notes

Serve immediately so the ice stays crunchy. The dessert can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days in the fridge without ice.
